https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=849473 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=849473#c0 Summary: After install Gnome pattern (previos usin KDE), screensaver doesn't exists/work/any Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: RC 2 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: toomany@gmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.114 Safari/537.36 The installation is for KDE. Today I decided to install and try Gnome; check Gnome desktop with Gnome base in Yast Package Install, and run the installation. Reboot laptop. Try Gnome (very promising) BUT the lock screen icon in the menu doesn't exists. Try Super+L and nothing happens. Change to KDE and delete all about gtk, gnome, and about gnome in .config and local $HOME; nothing. I just did a fresh install on another laptop (at home), but I've done the installation directly in Gnome, I can block with Super + L without problems and I have the lock button on the main menu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Fresh install with KDE. 2.Install via yast gnome desktop pattern. 3.try to use lock screen under gnome session -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
