I support all above. Its also true on an X86_64 system. My system is an upgrade
from 11.2 not a fresh install but the Yast packages are all recently from
Factory.
Having opened the control centre gui (it works fine), if I select Software
Management, I get a burst of UI Syntax Errors as described above, then
*sometimes* I get the window that lists the upgrades that are available and it
works normally until I tell it to accept the changes. I then get another burst
of UI Syntax errors after which the programme dies; it just disappears off the
list of programmes altogether.
The above makes me think that the UI Syntax errors are associated with windows
that download the repository meta data and then again the window that downloads
the files needed for the update.
The other choices on the Control Centre seem to die as soon as the UI Syntax
Errors are closed but I have not played with those as much.
I hope there is a clue in there that helps.
