http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1108556 Bug ID: 1108556 Summary: 'zypper dup' periodically breaks GTK due to corrupt gsettings - gschemas installation Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: sonichedgehog_hyperblast00@yahoo.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Whenever I update my installation of openSUSE Tumbleweed ('zypper dup') there's a chance that GTK breaks and every GTK application will refuse to start up. When running it from bash I see an error about missing gsettings - gschemas... I didn't save the output but will do so if the issue happens again. The problem is always solved by reinstalling the packages "gsettings-desktop-schemas" and "gsettings-desktop-schemas-lang" after which affected programs will work again. The problem started happening roughly 1 to 3 months ago, but it has occurred repeatedly while updating the system (at least 5 times). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
