Whenever I update my installation of openSUSE Tumbleweed ('zypper dup') there's a chance that GTK breaks and every GTK application will refuse to start up. When running it from bash I see an error about missing gsettings - gschemas... I didn't save the output but will do so if the issue happens again. The problem is always solved by reinstalling the packages "gsettings-desktop-schemas" and "gsettings-desktop-schemas-lang" after which affected programs will work again. The problem started happening roughly 1 to 3 months ago, but it has occurred repeatedly while updating the system (at least 5 times).
