I'm afraid that your request cannot be implemented now. The current solution is
this:
Boot installation media...
* First stage installation
* Setup network
* Select/modify installation (online) repositories
* Install system
* Reboot into the just installed system
* Second stage installation
* Propose some configuration/wait unless user accepts or changes it
-> The second stage is interactive too because the installation program doesn't
know what would user like to configure and how.
-> First stage contains only limited set of settings and can't contain all
drivers or firmware for hardware, which means that detection and proper
configuration works after the system is rebooted.
Your example with network also fits the current scenario. In first stage, only
LAN cards are supported for network configuration. That's why the
first-stage-configuration is taken into consideration when creating a network
proposal but it still waits for user to accept it, also because it contains
firewall configuration too.
Closing as WONTFIX because it just can't be implemented.
