After last update from factory (2009-05-19), I am unable to boot anymore. All messages I get are on attached screenshot (I wanted to attach serial console output as well, but the error occurs before the serial console get initialized) messages (short): mkdir: cannot create directory `/dev/mapper': File exists mknod: `/dev/mapper/control': File exists Creating device nodes with udev udevf-event[425]: device node '/dev/mapper/control' already exists, link to '/dev/device-mapper' will not overwrite it (...) Waiting for device /dev/system/factory to appear: ..............Could not find /dev/system/factory. Want me to fall back to /dev/system/factory? (Y/n) Obviously, fall back to /dev/system/factory solves nothing. After the message I got minimal shell, but dmesg does not work :( I'd like to provide any other information, but just tell me how ;-) (I can chroot to the installation and will provide hwinfo and list of packages in attachment) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
