--- Comment #7 from Dr. Werner Fink ---
Here we go, kernel command line
splash=silent i915.modeset=1 i915.i915_enable_rc6=1 \
video=1920x1080-32@60 ehci-hcd.log2_irq_thresh=3 ehci_hcd.log2_irq_thresh=3\
acpi_osi=Linux acpi_osi='!Windows 2000' scsi_mod.use_blk_mq=1 quiet showopts
and with Device Section from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-local.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Default Device"
# Driver "modesetting"
Driver "intel"
Option "AccelMethod" "UXA"
Option "HotPlug" "true"
Option "XvMC" "true"
Option "XvMCSurfaces" "6"
Option "XvPreferOverlay" "true"
VideoRam 262144
EndSection
result is freeze. With "modesetting" instead of "intel" hibernating does hang.
Also I let load the module i915 within initrd:
lsmod | grep i915
i915 1953792 7
video 45056 1 i915
button 16384 1 i915
i2c_algo_bit 16384 1 i915
drm_kms_helper 200704 1 i915
drm 438272 8 i915,drm_kms_helper
