I only saw this with one card, a other card (same brand, same chips) did not show it. Also the 8168 driver from Realtek did show it. So I did some more investigation on hardware itself and found that here was a short circuit between two contacts in the RJ45 socket of the card, I removed the socket and soldered a new one, but the defect card still show this behavior, seems it was really damaged now. So I now think this issue is more related to faulty hardware as to a driver issue. Lower speed with Realtek cards is quiet common, because it is really cheap hardware with cheap components, you cannot compare a Ferrari with a VW. The ethtool autoneg setting seems to be still a driver bug also in 11.1. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
