--- Comment #2 from Dr. Werner Fink 2013-11-08 08:06:56 UTC ---
I'm not maintainer of the rescue system ... AFAICS the rescue sysem is booted
from the DVD or an image of the DVD of the 13.1-RC1 ... just checked 13.1-RC2
and it is also missed:
linux:~ # mount /dev/sr0 /mnt
mount: /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
linux:~ # mkdir /tmp/root
linux:~ # mount /mnt/boot/x86_64/rescue /tmp/root
linux:~ # grep -c systemd-journal /tmp/root/etc/group
0
the only problem on adding this group could be that the gid 496 for the group
name 'systemd-journal' may vary that is the number is not unique across all
installed systems[1].
IMHO this bug is not solvable and therefore this warning message is not fine
but should be ignored.

linux:~ # rpm -q --scripts systemd | less
preinstall scriptlet (using /bin/sh):
getent group systemd-journal >/dev/null || groupadd -r systemd-journal || :
exit 0
