The ghostscript security update has been released for 13.2 as well today, and
13.2 is now affected too.
And it breaks all postscript documents, not just eps files.
I noticed this output in the terminal (must come from libspectre or
ghostscript), not sure if it helps:
invalidaccess -7
OTOH, it works fine on Tumbleweed even though its newer ghostscript 0.9.20
should contain the same security fixes AFAICS.
Tumbleweed has a newer libspectre (0.2.8), but even installing this version
from X11:common:Factory doesn't fix the problem.
Btw, gwenview does still display eps files fine (Qt's eps image plugin uses gs
directly), so using this may be a workaround for now.
