https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=381965 Summary: Edited partition-setup not shown/used Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- The installation suggested to format sda5 and sda7 and use sda6 as swap, which did make sense, however I wanted it to only format and use sda7, so I edited the partition-based setup, i.e. removed the mountpoint for sda5 and edited the one of sda7 to "/". Then I clicked on "continue" and the installtions did show the unedited proposal as summary, I went back into the partition-editor and my settings were kept, i.e. only sda7 was marked as to be formated. I continued some more steps until there is the final summary, which still showed the unedited partition-setup, so I aborted. I did not actually try out whether this is just a display bug or really keeps the first proposal. Please do not ask for Yast-logs, as this is very easy to reproduce. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
