WPA2 is supported by ifup-wireless. getcfg currently reports a wrong interface
type, hence ifup-wireless does not setup the interface, maybe this is the
problem here. You can work around this by adding WIRELESS='yes' to the
ifcfg-file. And yes, ifup-wireless does allow both WPA and RSN (aka WPA2)
protocols for WPA connections by default. If you want to restrict this to RSN
for whatever reasons, you can do this by adding WIRELESS_WPA_PROTO='RSN' to the
ifcfg-file (see /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg.template). YaST does not support
this.
