As you can see in the screenshot, I cannot select US English as the
language in KDE4.
There is no en_US package:
mfabian@magellan:~$ ls /work/CDs/all/full-x86_64/suse/*/kde4-l10n*rpm | grep -i
en
/work/CDs/all/full-x86_64/suse/noarch/kde4-l10n-en_GB.rpm

which might be OK because US English is already used as the msgid in
the .po files, i.e. no translation file might be necessary.
But why is US English not selectable in “systemsettings”?
I thought that this *might* be intentional because somebody
*may* have thought that removing *all* languages in systemsettings
could give US English. But it doesn’t work that way either,
in that case I get the language of my default locale, which
is Japanese.
So I don’t know how this is supposed to work.
