But why is US English not selectable in “systemsettings”? I thought that this *might* be intentional because somebody *may* have thought that removing *all* languages in systemsettings could give US English. But it doesn’t work that way either, in that case I get the language of my default locale, which is Japanese. I thought the same, that’s why I wrote in comment #2 that I hoped that removing all other languages in the systemsettings might give me US English. But it doesn’t. Currently I see no way to get US English except from setting my default locale to en_US.UTF-8 and run KDE4 in that locale (and of course not select any other language in systemsettings.
