libjack0-1.9.12-lp151.3.3.1.x86_64 now is installed on my primary PC. It takes time for the no longer expected crash to occur....
I used to use xine as the audio backend in my kde3 days. Try executing this: jack_control start ; jack_metro -f 25 -b 30 and see if you can make a crash, you have to use ctrl c to exit jack_metro. Also we can test with zynaddsubfx and qjackctl. Execute zynaddsubfx from the command line than you need to start qjackctl from another console and then click the connect button. You should see zynaddsubfx in the left hand window, expand it and you will have out_1 and out_2 expand system in the right hand window you will have paybacks 1 and 2. Select out_1 and drag to playback_1 to connect, repeat with out_2. Now you should have sound from the keyboard of zynaddsubfx, play around and if you can't reproduce the crash you should consider switching to xine, I'm bugowner for xine. Please post any useful information. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
