It displayed a message that I had to install the qsqlite plugin. However, in my repositories I didn't find any package named "qsqlite" plugin. The packages libqt4-sql and libqt4-sql-sqlite were yet installed before! As I didn't understand the situation, I've installed randomly these packages: litqt4-sql-mysql, litqt4-sql-postgresql and litqt4-sql-unixODBC. After doing this, digikam started correctly. So it seems that it needs at least _one_ of these packages to work correctly.
