This is really a bug in gtk-recordmydesktop itself but you can't change frames per second and other important options without the Advanced button working Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install package gtk-recordmydesktop 2. Remove package jack if you have it installed 3. Run gtk-recordmydesktop and press the Advanced button Actual Results: Nothing, unless you are running in console, where you can see it tries to run a component of jack and fails. Expected Results: Grant access to advanced options.
