Summary: Missing dependency in gtk-recordmydesktop
Product: openSUSE 11.3
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3
Priority: P5 - None
Found By: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:184.108.40.206)
Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8
The advanced button doesn't work if you don't have jack installed. This is
really a bug in gtk-recordmydesktop itself but you can't change frames per
second and other important options without the Advanced button working
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install package gtk-recordmydesktop
2. Remove package jack if you have it installed
3. Run gtk-recordmydesktop and press the Advanced button
Nothing, unless you are running in console, where you can see it tries to run a
component of jack and fails.
Grant access to advanced options.
You should consider having it depend on jack or patching the
gtk-recordmydesktop so it doesn't break without it.
