The third partition is the only partition that has a bootable flag.
I think, I tried to toggle the bootable flag before and grub tried to install
itself there too. But I am not quite sure.
Perhaps grub tried to install itself to all bootable partitions and not into
the "main" mbr.
Here is my partition setup. (fdisk /dev/sda)
