https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=469183 Summary: filesystem: sr@Latn vs sr@latin Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: vuntz@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- The filesystem ships both /usr/share/locales/sr@Latn and /usr/share/locales/sr@latin. But those are two different names for the same locale. The reason we ship both is that upstream took a long time to agree on the name, and so packages don't all use the same name. After much discussion, glibc uses @latin (see for example http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1347) So sr@Latn should be a link to sr@latin. And bugs should be filed for packages using sr@Latn (I'm okay to do that, but I don't have access to a filesystem with all packages installed anymore, it seems :/). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
