http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1163596 Bug ID: 1163596 Summary: autofs v5.1.3 issue with IPv6 NFS mounts Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Factory Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: bugrprt21882@online.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Currently, autofs only performs NFS mounts reliably if the IPv4 address of the server is used. * If the server's hostname is used and, that resolves to an IPv6 address then, the NFS mount never completes -- it hangs. There's this Debian Bug Report #737679: "autofs does not appear to support IPv6 hostname lookups for NFS mounts" <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=737679> This seems to be resolved with autofs 5.1.5. * Which available with Tumbleweed and the Leap 15.1 "filesystems" repository. Is it planned to make autofs version 5.1.5 available for regular Leap 15.1 and Leap 15.2? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
