--- Comment #5 from Rajko Matovic 2010-07-05 17:54:09 UTC ---
Today using Chrome login to the forums worked.
Chrome is 5.0.375.99 beta from Google repos updated trough "zypper up".
There was no changes between comment #3 and now. Not even reboot or KDE session
log out and log in. Last reboot was after KDE updates when Chrome was updated
too.
Chrome was opened trough the link from notification email (KMail), I clicked on
the link "Register/Login", login page with filled in values popped up, click on
login and I was in.
Automatic login to the wiki, without login screen, worked fine, but attempt to
save a page failed with:
Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. ...
As before second click on "Save page" worked.
It is interesting that opening openFATE page
https://features.opensuse.org/305394 trough link automatically logged me in.
Usually I would have to go to dashboard and login from there, then go back and
reload the page. This was happening in any browser.
Voting on that feature and later changing the vote worked fine. I did not try
to edit the feature.
Different browsers act differently.
Konqueror was for quite some time a problem with login, and when Satoru pointed
me to Firefox extension that more then compensated Konqueror edit functions, I
quit using it. Then Firefox started to show "Sorry! We could not ...". Now
after update Konqueror is OK.
If you need thorough test with different browsers, I should know how to handle
them in order to provide always the same start point.
I hope this is the information that you are looking for.
