https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=364429 Summary: s2ram suspend to ram on dell inspiron 5160 fails Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: zoz@novell.com ReportedBy: sativagarden@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=196835) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=196835) hwinfo my dell inspiron 5160 running OpenSUSE 10.3 fails to suspend to ram. I booted with kernel parameter "init=/bin/bash". I mounted /proc and /sys and experimented with S2Ram. These two commands resumed my comp successfully from suspend s2ram -f -p -m s2ram -f -p -s Everything else either hung my keyboard or forced my comp to reboot itself. I tried these commands with a fully running system (X, compiz-fusion, etc), but they don't resume. Any ideas on getting s2ram working? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
