https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=357049 Summary: Low bitrate with wireless, using both ifup and networkmanager Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: unspecified Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: alvise@hispeed.ch QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Since when I test openSUSE 11.0 alphas, I realised that my network bitrate is extremely low (2-4 times lower than average). I think it is not a network problem nor a hardware problem, as I am in multiboot and when I use back 10.3 my download speeds come back to normality. I tested both settings with ifup and networkmanager, and see no difference. I have the feeling that alpha1 has slightly improved the speed compared to alpha0, but still very slow. I use rt2500pci driver, configured with WPA-PSK encryption Also, sometimes it loses the connection, which never happens under 10.3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
