Hi,
Since the upgrade to the latest 11.1 kernel this morning, I have a similar
issue again with this laptop (DELL latitude E4300). I checked the values of the
"Analog Loopback" switches, switched them off, and now the laptop's speakers
are completely silent, even with the volume controls (PCM, Master, HeadPhone)
are 100%. The "Headphone" output works normally though.
I tried "play /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav", and mplayer, using the
alsa audio output driver.
please find attached the output of alsa-info.sh
