I deinstalled xf86-video-intel (and -amdgpu and -nouveau).
I had to move /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf away.
- Xorg did start (and uses the modesetting driver with good 3D support)
- Wakeup after suspend does work (lid open)
But closing the lid seemingly pastes the last entry in the clipboard in a loop.
And it freezes the system to unresponsive until I open the lid again.
It seems like a bug in KDE Plasma 5.
It may be the same bug as in
https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/521519-Screen-Freeze-on-Leap-42-2...
Or this one:
https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/526608-KDE-Freezes-randomly-and-o...
On 42.2 I used the uxa AccelMethod with success.
But on 42.3 either uxa or sna did not help.
Perhaps it's the best to just switch to LEAP 15 and hope for the best.
Greetings,
Frerk
