but no sound... :(
btw...i didn`t mentioned that after all i did somehow the sound work in
opensuse 10.3...with this patch
https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=2801
but it isn`t so good, sometime freeze when i open two sound application (ex
xmms and mplayer)
and recently i found this:
https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=3560
In the last thread what i found it said to remove the snd-ca0106 module and try
to insert again like this:
# modprobe snd-ca0106 subsystem=0x10121102
I have tied to remove in two ways but no luck:
# rmmod snd-ca0106
ERROR: Module snd_ca0106 is in use
and
# modprobe -r snd-ca0106
FATAL: Module snd_ca0106 is in use.
but i go to yast-->sound and remove the sound card from there and then the
module was unloaded then:
# modprobe snd-ca0106 subsystem=0x10121102
and
$ speaker-test -c2 -Dplug:front:0 -twav
and i hear the test sound but the other applications like xmms freeze they say
that there is no sound!
Hope this helps! (sorry for my english)
Thankyou for helping me!
