No it is not, as one day even on SLES we have to switch to the openSUSE version of systemd.
And that will be when? I suppose at SLE13GA time - the perfect time to sell net.ifnames=0 in the release notes. Or if you really really want to stay, there's always Base:System:Legacy/systemd. The reason why B:S:L exists is precisely because you want to keep some prior version or extra patches.
Btw, Felix: What happens it you add
net.ifnames=0
to the kernel's command line? I then see the old naming scheme on my virtual >Factory test system!
