Sorry, I dare to disagree because it simply doesn't work!
I'm using smart since 10.1 and actually run quite often into the problem that
smart was unable to automatically import the key from some pgp server so i was
forced to do this manually. And _every single time_ it worked just fine after I
did "rpm --import http://Repo-URL/path/to/repo/repodata/repomd.xml.key".
But here this doesn't help, so I'm either missing something obvious or there's
something screwed.
E.g. here is the output from my last try: http://pastebin.ca/941180 (note that
I manually import the key in the first line and it still tries to lookup the
key from pgp.mit.edu. This never happened before with any repository)
So please try to import my repository and to install a package from it (I
suggest truecrypt5 because it contains just 3 files without kernel modules,
scripts, ... and shouldn't overwrite anything). Then you'll probably quickly
see what I mean.
If you need to nuke my whole repo including all packages & metadata feel free
to do so, I honestly don't care as long as it works after that.
Last but not least I would like to ask - more out of curiosity - how you
translate 0x47cabeca into Sun Mar 2 15:50:50 2008.
