https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=272676 Summary: hotkey-setup: prevent thinkpad-keys can get started twice Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 3plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: behlert@novell.com ReportedBy: dkukawka@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I'm not sure if there is really a reason for this, but you can start thinkpad-keys twice which results in two /dev/input/event* devices with the same events. This would break e.g. eventhandling in HAL and depending applications as e.g. KPowersave/gpm. I can't see a usecase where the user need two of these processes for Thinkpads. So I would propose there should a way to prevent that the program get started twice. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
