I was updating the Language setting in YAST. Yast called for DISTRO disks 1 and 2 all o.k and YAST auto downloaded a language file for Open Office as Open Office is set to Language = System Default.
The download was successful on 1 other PC where the exact same change was made, however it timed out and failed due error response "failed integrity error" - see attached.
On both occasions the same mirror is being used for source.
The checksum error occurred on kde3-i18n-en_GB. This package was not downloaded, but taken from CD. (DISTPRODUCT SUSE-Linux-10.1-CD-download-x86) I checked the copy in our CD-ARCHIVE: suse/noarch/kde3-i18n-en_GB-3.5.1-9.noarch.rpm on CD2 has sha1 sum 75709eec56974f287370caf2b67359876cba0ce0, as required. As we can mount the CD, read directories, but not read this specific file, it might be a scratched or dirty CD that caused the error. Anyway the error message is missleading. Esp. as the 'Do you want to retry downloading it?' question is part of libzypp's error string. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
