https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=392142 Summary: abiword missing a dependency after YaST2 Install Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 3 Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: accounts@guardiansrealm.net QAContact: dmacvicar@novell.com CC: olh@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer Installed abi-word in gnome and it would not start. Tried it from the command line and got an error about a missing library. I was working on bug 391814 and didn't record the error, thinking I'd come back to it. While in printer-configuration (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=391814#c7) when I clicked the "Basic Settings" tab a number of printer drivers and possibly some libs were installed from Yast. Following that experiment, abiword is magically fixed and now I can't tell you what the error was. If you know where it would have been logged, I will be happy to submit the logfile. I'm sorry I can't be more help on this one. :-( BEST BET TO REPRODUCE: - Grab the Gnome-11.0-Beta-3 Live CD, - Do a vanilla install - Try grabbing abiword from Yast I have submitted several snapshots of my /var/log/YaST2/ directory: I believe AbiWord was installed just before I took this snapshot.
