Just wait until you start trying to actually USE the machine you "uninstalled"
on. So far I haven't found anyone who did that and ended up with a stable Web
surfing experience.
Compiz makes the system unusable for 99% of the AARP community. If it is so
easy to "remove and disable" without breaking anything, then send out an update
which actually does it. What you have now requires a user that can barely see
the mouse to hack their system.
End User = Checks email, Surfs Web, writes a few letters and Plays Solitare or
some other card game.
End User != ability to uninstall busted stuff that should have never been
shipped.
