Did you try to reproduce it with KDE not TW in VNC as per the bug report? My .vnc/xstartup is included in the original submission.
The test machine is vanilla openSuSE 42.2 RC2, it is equally broken in RC1, with KDE desktop enabled.there
Fabian, Your comment "it works in TW" - does it mean that VNC is intended only for TW in 42.2? That would be pretty bad news.
No, it should work on 42.2 just fine. I just tried it on my vanilla 42.2 Beta installation. I just logged in as root and non-root, ran "vncserver", gave it a password and connected to it with krdc and tigervnc. KDE started successfully in every try. I'll update to RC2 and update here if I can reproduce. I can't actually tell what's going wrong here, the cause seems to be this:
XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":1" after 115 requests (115 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
which causes the X connection to kdeinit to break, shutting down everything. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
