(In reply to Aender Boy from comment #12)
removing `none` from `FONT_MAP=` in /etc/vconsole.conf and messing around with dracut and mkinitrd afterwards removed the error message, but either the luks pw prompt was still using english keyboard layouts or brought me to a rescue root shell after entering my luks pw, telling me about some issue with my keyboard(-layout?).
Sadly i can't reproduce this anymore. Probably because of the dracut update (to 044.1) i did in between.
What i just tried: 1. modify /etc/vconsole.conf:
KEYMAP=de-latin1-nodeadkeys FONT=eurlatgr.psfu FONT_MAP= FONT_UNIMAP=
2. run `dracut -f -v` and dracut does not show a "Could not find FONT_MAP none! " error.
3. reboot by entering luks pw in eng (should be german)
The same happens when running `mkinitrd` instead of dracut.
The issue with you keyboard layout must still be present if the correct keymap isn't set. Can you please reboot with the additional boot parameter: rd.debug and attach the output of: journalctl -axb when the machine is up again? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
