I am now thinking that if I want two opensuse installs, using the two EFI partitions (one per disk), then I should set only one of those to secure boot. That way, one will be called "opensuse-secure" and the other just "opensuse". Hopefully, that would avoid the name conflict.
If you want another openSUSE install in parallel, there's a tip to do that by setting the distributor in yast2 bootloader's loader option.
