Ok, I checked now my Factory installation on my T60w, and it shows the same
problem, and the 'getkeycodes' indeed shows that the table has been altered -
it doesn't match the one in the kernel.
The culprit is /usr/share/hotkey-setup/ibm.hk. It changes the correct mapping
for scancode e05d/0xdd to KEY_WAKEUP. It's wrong, it's a bug. e05d/0xdd is
KEY_COMPOSE, and should be kept at the default kernel setting - no need to
change it. Also, KEY_WAKEUP works by default and doesn't need to be changed,
it's a standard key.
Btw, there is likely another problem in X.Org - KEY_WAKEUPi (e063/0xe3)
shouldn't cause the menu to appear, that should be exclusive to KEY_COMPOSE
(e05d/0xdd).
