These partitions existed from a prior version of OpenSuSE and were not created during this installation. 2) There are many messages on the OpenSuSE forums bitching about this very bug. 3) Those people who use labels are quite consistent about it. 4) When the installation procedure runs, it should ASK about a mount point for each partition it identifies and let the user decide, not ASS-U-ME. 5) Your argument is really inconsistent with reality when you auto-mount WINDOWS/C and WINDOWS/D for any NTFS or FAT-32 partitions found, especially since most of us don't have a single Windows installation.
