http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1176121 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1176121#c3 --- Comment #3 from Daniel Wagner <daniel.wagner@suse.com> --- I didn't run the 5.8.3 kernel. The last working kernel is 5.8.2-1-default for me. One thing I thing I noticed in the logs was (while trying to get a bootable system):
Sep 03 08:46:16 beryllium kernel: Linux version 5.8.4-1-default (geeko@buildhost) (gcc (SUSE Linux) 10.2.1 20200825 [revision c0746a1beb1ba073c7981eb09f55b3d993b32e5c], GNU ld (GNU Binutils; > [...] Sep 03 08:46:16 beryllium kernel: Trying to unpack rootfs image as initramfs... Sep 03 08:46:16 beryllium kernel: Initramfs unpacking failed: XZ-compressed data is corrupt
IIRC, the above boot attempt failed a different place. I wouldn't give the above log message to much weight. It looks like a different problem to me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
