http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=995816 Bug ID: 995816 Summary: Setting automatic login in yast does not work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: freek@opensuse.org QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- During initialization one can select Automatic Login for a user. However, after booting the system, that user is not automatic logged in. Also using System Settings in KDE -> Login Screen -> Advanced and setting Automatic login and a user, does not enable Automatic Login for that user. Only after setting the user name in the value for DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOMATICLOGIN= in /etc/sysconfig/displaymaneger one gets the automatic login for that user. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
