So, I was surprised how can yast2-printer change printers during update. No, it
doesn't because it's not even started.
Check logs from comment #1:

Logs above means that only packages are installed. Nothing else.
You can start printer when you check "Clone system" but this wasn't happend.
And last I tried it to reproduce as update from 10.3 to 11.0Alpha0 and it works
as expected (beh backend was untouched).
That means if something was changed, it's possible it was POSTINSTALL scripts,
not YaST. Klaus?
