I can't add binary RPMs to our repos. Especially no all-in-one no dependency
binaries. It's a security nightmare. To be able to avoid this I have worked for
11.3 with the SpiderOak guys on a version of their client that worked with all
the open source dependencies split off. We already had shipped a lot of them
and the rest I have added to our repos. This has worked great, but now we're
stuck with that version because they don't answer my requests for updated
tarballs anymore.
I know this sucks. We hoped that the exposure to our user base we gave them
would be incentive enough to work with us in the future. We didn't have a
contract or anything. It seems now that this didn't really work.
Maybe a little push from their customers will bring them back to the table but
for 11.4 its too late I fear. Please keep me updated what they are telling you.
I'm more then willing to work on a solution for this but I need their support.
