KDE3 also supports OSS (Open Sound System) (run "modprobe snd-pcm-oss" in order to work).
When, every boot? Once only? If not, can it be made automatic? Does anything else need to be done to prevent the crashing that still occurs as of KDE3 updates as of a month or so ago? KDE3 for 15.1 seems to be getting rebuilt every week or so.
snd-pcm-oss is always required in order to use OSS. Run "echo snd-pcm-oss > /etc/modules-load.d/snd-pcm-oss.conf" to load it during boot. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
