https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=293709 Summary: 10.3 Alpha 6 breaks CDMA modem connetion Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 6 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: clarkt@cnsp.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer This worked in 10.3 A5, but broke in A6. Verizon pcie CDMA/EVDO aircard is properly identified when inserted. Using Yast to setup the card on /dev/ttyUSB0 creates a link /dev/modem -> /dev/ttyUSB0. Using NM to attempt to connect dials the modem but it never connects. The same occurs with kinternet. On reboot, the link /dev/modem -> /dev/ttyUSB0 is gone. Yast shows that the modem is configured. The link is recreated when you run through the edit of the modem and provider but make no changes. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
