--- Comment #10 from Christian Morales Vega 2008-04-05 05:27:34 MST ---
Using zypper-0.10.5-2.1 and libzypp-4.7.0-2.1 from zypp:Backport on 10.3, and
having acetoneiso2-2.0.1-5.3@x86-64 from KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Community installed, a
"zypper up -t package" wants me to update to acetoneiso2-2.0.1-11.pm.2@x86-64
from Packman.
And KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Community has a higher priority than packman:
$ grep priority /etc/zypp/repos.d/{packman,KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Community}.repo
/etc/zypp/repos.d/packman.repo:priority=85
/etc/zypp/repos.d/KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Community.repo:priority=75
acetoneiso2 is just an example, there are more packages with similar problems.
Is this still a work-in-progress or there is a bug?
Also, smart has prioritoes for both repositories *and packages*.
If I want packman with a low priority (I don't want everything submitted to
Packman to be updated) but want some specific packages to be always updated
from Packman (Amarok, GStreamer, KTorrent...), this repository priority system
helps me?
