Unfortunately I have to doubt that this is a duplicate of bug 214820.
I have simulated that bug 214820 were fixed by symlinking /bin/eject back to /usr/bin/eject, so that hal can find it again.
It fixes ivman, but Nautilus is still failing. :-(
I did the same (ln -s /bin/eject /usr/bin/eject) and now everything works fine with Nautilus. It is actually gnome-volume-manager which is calling asking HAL to eject the volume.
And it wouldn't make too much sense anyway (The device needs to be umounted first and then ejected, but in this bug already the umount fails).
This is being handled by HAL. If the method Unmount() is called for a volume, HAL first unmounts the volume. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
