You could try if changing this to true helps: /etc/wicked/common.xml: <use-nanny>false</use-nanny>
Yep, changing that to 'true' recreates the previous behaviour. I don't know what else it does :-( It seems to me an interface with dhcp should continue broadcasting for an address until it gets one. Possible reasons for DHCP not being immediately available - dhcp-server not running, dhcp-server not reachable, client's mac-addr not configured, cable not connected etc etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
