I had no problem to install 11.0 on the same configuration (but it was a fresh
new install, not an update)...
Maybe I should try again the tip from the support page (first posted link),
this time disable (comment out) ALL partitions entries for the third disk in
/etc/fstab ?
The first two partitions on that Maxtor disk are windows partitions, and I
don't think they need to be seen by the update process. The third partition is
in fact the installation source, and I'm not so sure it is safe to "hide" it
from the installer (if it goes further than the error point). BTW, disabling
that partition only in fstab didn't solved the problem.
