The problem you were experiencing was most likely IRQ misrouting in which case
irqpoll usually helps, which is the reason why I suggested it first. The thing
w/ irqpoll is that it can't be used for IRQs which don't set IRQ_SHARED which
indicates that it can be called spuriously and can thus share single IRQ line
with other devices. Most drivers set this but as MSI is never shared it isn't
set on MSIs and the controller was trying to use MSI and it's kind of common
knowledge that via + MSI (or any other advanced feature) isn't a good idea,
so...
Anyways, I guess it's time for yet another via blacklist entry. Can you please
attach the output of "lspci -nn" and "dmidecode"?
