Same issue on my brothers laptop.
opensuse 11.0 i586 final with latest kernel: 2.6.25.11-0.1-pae
I tried a 256MB compactflash of mine : it works fine, I could mount it
manually.
I ejected that card and replaced it with my brothers card (a sandisk ultra II
2GB)
and got the same errors. Trying to mount manually fails :
m6:~ # mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt
